Rob Fitzpatrick is a dedicated and purpose driven man who has devoted his life to helping others free themselves from the chains of addiction. His dedication to his job and his passion for helping others is testimony to his faith.
Before coming to Miklat, Rob was a staff supervisor at a cold weather shelter in Maple Ridge, working for Hope For Freedom Society, where Rob began his recovery from addiction.
Rob has worked in various outreach groups in the lower mainland, including Access Youth Outreach in the Tri-Cities, which involves meeting youth on the streets and educating them on the dangers of drug and alcohol misuse. He has also been an active member of Street Saviours Outreach Society who work tirelessly on the Downtown East Side of Vancouver, providing food, clothes, and supports to the homeless and addicted populations.
Rob is an active member of the Powell River community, participating in Powell River Overdose Awareness Panel, Powell River Community Action Team, as well as an organizing committee member for Recovery Day Powell River which is an annual event to raise awareness of recovery and the various services Powell River provides to people wishing to recover from addiction.
